Welcome to Tilden
Gardens
ituated
on a five-acre, triangular
parcel of land bounded
by Connecticut Avenue,
Sedgwick and Tilden Streets in Washington, DC’s
Cleveland Park neighborhood,
Tilden Gardens is one of the
nation's capital’s largest
cooperative apartment
residences. Completed in 1930, the
development
consists of four buildings
that form one corporation.
Constructed
of red brick and
trimmed with Indiana limestone,
the Tudor Revival buildings are set among
charming terraced gardens. No
other complex in Washington
can match Tilden Gardens’
ratio of green space to
dwellings. The spacious
apartments were thoughtfully
designed with meticulous
attention to detail.
