Directions to Tilden Gardens

ilden Gardens is located on a triangular site bounded by Connecticut Avenue, Sedgwick and Tilden Streets, N.W. in the Cleveland Park Section of the District of Columbia. It is easily accessible by Metro, Metrobus and by automobile. 

By Metro

Take the Red Line train to the Cleveland Park Metro Stop. At the top of the escalator, walk north on Connecticut Avenue. You will cross Porter and Rodman Streets. When you reach Sedgwick Street, you are at the south end of the Tilden Gardens complex. A trip planner for the DC Metro is available here. 

By Bus

Metro's L1, L2 and L4 buses travel the Connecticut Avenue, N.W. corridor and stop at the corners of Sedgwick and Tilden Streets, N.W. They go north as far as Chevy Chase Circle and south to Washington's business district. A map of the Connecticut Avenue bus lines is available here.

By Car
